On the ASMR menu today: three kinds of vegan jelly and some yummy dairy free vanilla ice cream! Most people may not realise that jelly is not vegan, but it (and most lollies/gummies) on the market actually contains gelatin which is an animal derivative. This particular type of jelly (purchased at my local supermarket) is infused with edible glitter and just so happened to contain no gelatin, so after not having jelly for a few years I was eager to try it out. We’ve got strawberry, blueberry and lime, with lime being my favourite. Very delicious, despite being a little on the flaccid side. Perhaps I prepared it wrong or the summer heat melted it a little?
