You've come in today for open heart surgery because you're in need of a valve repair. You'll start in an exam room with a full body exam from your anesthesiologist who will also start your IV and get you hooked up to the monitor. Then, you will be moved to the operating room where you'll be prepped for surgery and counted down as you're put under anesthesia. It can be personal attention, gentle touch, hand movements, crinkling, tapping sounds... there are lots of different types of ASMR triggers and everyone is different when it comes to what triggers their ASMR!
