We have not only vegetables but also seafood Tempura and mushroom Tempura. I like seasonal vegetable tempura. There are Broccoli Tempura, Maitake mushroom Tempura, carrot Tempura, and edible wild plant Tempura today. Do you usually eat wild plant? There are many edible wild plants in Japan. We call “Sansai” in Japanese. For example, Fukinoto, Warabi, Udo, Warabi, Taranome and so on. Their best season is in Spring. The common flavors of those wild plants are bitterness. Some people doesn’t like the bitterness. But I really enjoyed it. 【Japanese Soba】 We have 2 famous types of noodles in Japan. That is Udon and Soba.(Ramen comes from China.) Udon is made from wheat flour. Soba is made from buckwheat flour. I like Soba better than Udon. 【Crunchy Stir Fry】 There are wood ear mushrooms and bamboo shoots.
