The Min Min light is a mysterious and frequently reported light phenomenon in the Australian outback. Stories about these lights are part of several Aboriginal Australian cultures that seem to predate European colonisation and have since become a significant element of broader Australian folklore. Accounts vary, but they are often described as fuzzy, disc-shaped lights that appear to hover just above the horizon. While some describe them as white, other accounts say they change colour from white to red to green and back again. While reading, I was struck by the similarities this phenomenon shares with UFO light reports from other countries. I was particularly interested in the 'Fata Morgana mirage' hypothesis, and will likely explore this in another video. Thank you very much for watching.
