This video explores the Glozel artifacts, a collection of over 3,000 objects discovered in a field in France in 1924. The finds include clay tablets with an unknown script, pottery, and tools. For nearly a century, their authenticity has been the subject of intense debate among archaeologists, with initial claims of a prehistoric civilization being challenged by accusations of fraud and forgery. Not only is the ongoing conjecture interesting, it gets quite dramatic at times! I was fascinated in how dramatic the history of the archeology of these artifacts is. Who knew that historians could have this much drama? Thank you very much for watching and supporting me.
