The three magi - or three holy kings, as they're known around here - are ever present in depictions of the Nativity. Their feast is on Jan 6, which in some Western traditions concludes Christmas season, so we're jumping ahead a little here, but there's some fascinating history (and very cute depictions!) that I didn't want to leave out. The exhibition catalogue is called "Die Heiligen Drei Könige. Mythos, Kunst und Kult." and is from the Museum Schnütgen in Cologne. *** You can support my channel via: Paypal Me - paypal.com/paypalme/melangeasmr Ko-Fi - ko-fi.com/melangeasmr
