I feel like a lot of you (me included) like to listen to ASMR without the video, so now you can do that. :) (Though it still has some visual triggers for those who like watching) Triggers include ear to ear whispers, tapping, hand sounds, mouth sounds, water sounds & spraying, mic scratching, personal attention, tracing, face brushing and more~ Trend was definitely popularized by @LunaBloomASMR so HUGE shout-out to her! To listen while using other apps, switch the player to Picture-in-Picture (PiP) during playback — it keeps playing in a small floating window (the screen stays on).
To listen with the screen fully off, in-browser playback stops by YouTube's design. Open the video in the YouTube app to keep listening where background playback is supported (e.g. with YouTube Premium).
