Hi guys! Recently, YouTube has been recommending so many new ASMRtists to me and I absolutely love that! However, I've noticed that some people have difficulties setting up and using their blue yeti. So, I thought I'd record some instructions on how to properly use one. This video is meant for beginner ASMRtists and those who enjoy close up whispering 🥰 If you have any further questions, let me know and I'll try my best to help! I hope you like it, have a good night! Enjoy! ❤️ ⚙️ t i m e s t a m p s 🎙 00:00 start + intro 02:31 How to connect the Blue Yeti and record 04:38 The Mute-Button 05:12 Volume 05:32 Gain 06:49 How to position it 08:38 Stereo setting (binaural) 10:54 Omnidirectional Mode 12:03 Cardioid Mode 13:07 Bidirectional Mode 13:41 General tips 14:11 Set up (little stand vs. mic arm) 14:44 My special advice (I use this for role-plays) 16:10 outro + end P.S.: about my special tip: I used this because I wanted to be able to film 'binaural' role-plays without having to mirror the video (for example my eye doctor role play where you actually need to read something) and for videos where you're not supposed to see the mic. Tilting the mic upside down allows me to make those videos (since I don't have a mic arm etc.) ^-^ A S M R P L A Y L I S T : • Doing your Makeup after a bad day || ASMR 😴🖌 F O L L O W M E O N . . . Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR) is a tingling sensation that typically begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine (also called ‘tingles’). It is most commonly triggered by specific auditory or visual stimuli, and less commonly by intentional attention control. Those stimuli are referred to as ‘triggers’. People watch ASMR to calm down and relax, to fall asleep, to focus or just because they like it. #asmr #BlueYeti #Whispering
To listen while using other apps, switch the player to Picture-in-Picture (PiP) during playback — it keeps playing in a small floating window (the screen stays on).
To listen with the screen fully off, in-browser playback stops by YouTube's design. Open the video in the YouTube app to keep listening where background playback is supported (e.g. with YouTube Premium).
