I've been REALLY NERVOUS to film this video, as it's my first full length meditation video! I put in a lot of work to prepare for it, and I'm actually really pleased with how it turned out! I've been listening to meditations for five or six years, and it's a daily part of managing my mental and physical health. I remember the first time I entered a deep state of calm during meditation, and it was magical! I actually felt some of that as I was recording this video and as I listened back to it. which seems like a good sign, haha! 😜🤗 this meditation focuses on compassionately noticing and then relaxing the body, starting from our feet and working our way up to our heads, as well as incorporating some gentle, counted breaths. everyone's experience with meditation is different, and I'd love to hear about yours! I invite you to leave a comment below, if you feel comfortable! One Final Note: this meditation is "religiously neutral"---purposefully designed to be accessible to all people. whoever you are, you are welcome here. I hope you feel a little more calm in your body and a little more affirmed in the dignity of your humanity. remember, you are Loved and you are Capable! Hannah 🌸
