Fun fact of the day: Doritos, those iconic crunchy, cheesy triangles, were actually invented by accident at a theme park!! Back in the early 1960s, a restaurant in Disneyland was throwing away unused tortillas. A savvy food vendor decided to cut them into triangles, fry them, and sprinkle on some seasoning. Guests loved them. That simple snack idea caught the attention of the Frito-Lay company who owned the restraunt. They liked the idea so much that they turned it into the mass produced chip we know today!! By 1966, Doritos officially hit store shelves and American snack history was made!!
