Relax as I check the writability of a few fountain pens that have been laying around for a few weeks. Some fountain pens are better able than others to keep their nibs and feeds from drying out over extended periods on non-use. Usually to remedy a dry fountain pen I simply unscrew the barrel of the pen and activate the ink converter whether it be a piston or squeeze-type, to push a bit of ink into the feed. On pens that use ink cartridges, I have in the past been able to gently squeeze the cartridge to force some ink into the feed and thus into the nib where capillary action takes over from there to draw ink from the feed. My videos are best enjoyed using headphones or earbuds. The videos on my YouTube channel portray some of the typical day-to-day activities that I do for relaxation. This video was produced with relaxation in mind and hopefully has some ASMR qualities. Too much stress is harmful to your well-being and in today’s fast-paced world, stress management is more important than ever, and so I hope this ASMR video acts as a stress reliever for those watching and a sleep-aid for anyone having a difficult time falling asleep.
