For business inquiries, please contact: [email protected] ——————— Ingredients: (I haven’t written out the steps for everything yet, give me a moment LOL) 425 F for 13 minutes This makes either four large scones or you can cut it into eight small slices before baking (I wish i had done this!) And I apologize in advance for the complicated measuring amounts, I just think this makes the most practical batch size! 1 cup + 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp baking soda 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/4 tsp nutmeg 1/8 tsp ginger 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar 2 tablespoons granulated sugar 1/4 cup butter (cold and cut into small pieces) 1 3/4 tablespoons buttermilk (buttermilk can be made 1 cup of milk with EITHER 1 tablespoon of white vinegar OR 1 tablespoon of lemon juice) 1/4 cup + 1 extra tablespoon of pumpkin puree (pat partially dry with paper towel to remove extra moisture) Half of an egg (you can crack it into a bowl/mix and add half, or just do what I did in the video. This little bit of egg is a good binder!) 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 1/2 tablespoon half and half (or whole milk) For the frostings: I never actually measure out my regular glaze, so I just mixed powdered sugar, a dash of vanilla extract, and a little bit of half and half/milk until I got a slightly runny consistency that ribboned off of the whisk. For the pumpkin icing drizzle, I mixed about 1/2 cup of powdered sugar with 1/2 tablespoon of pumpkin puree, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/8 tsp nutmeg, and 1/8 tsp ginger, and a dash of vanilla. Do the same process with the milk/half and half, but ensure that the consistency is thicker for this than it was for the glaze.
