Hello YouTube members! You guys are my shining stars ✨ and I’m so thankful for your support! I really hope you’ll like this meditation- it’s primarily focused on letting go of control and needing certainty, that OCD usually thrives on. This also works for general anxiety and overthinking, anything that feels sticky in your head and is likely the result of an anxious feeling that keeps beating you down. There is no way to do this meditation wrong, the only goal is to see if we can just temporarily let go of feeding into it by giving it the reassurance and explaining it craves, and just sitting and focusing on the anxious feeling as it’s screaming at us. Usually, it simmers down on its own over time without us doing a compulsion. If you’re looking for the best place to start with your OCD therapy journey, the platform NOCD really changed my life (not sponsored): https://www.treatmyocd.com/therapy_signup/v2?utm_source=google_ads&utm_medium=ppc&utm_campaign=12663844044&utm_adgroup=123244610147&utm_term=nocd&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=12663844044&gbraid=0AAAAADEWRhYZxDBNdLtvvYfHIec60vN_h&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI17uu6LLclAMVCXJHAR2cNiXjEAAYASAAEgJhj_D_BwE
To listen while using other apps, switch the player to Picture-in-Picture (PiP) during playback — it keeps playing in a small floating window (the screen stays on).
To listen with the screen fully off, in-browser playback stops by YouTube's design. Open the video in the YouTube app to keep listening where background playback is supported (e.g. with YouTube Premium).
