Microphone Comparison / Test between Rode NT5 & Azden SGM-1X with Rode HS1-P & as Comparison. I use 2 x Matched Pair of Rode NT5 Microphones for most of my ASMR recording's, the Rode HS1-P Headset will be used for some massage vocal recordings, whisper video's and i really want to try it with some 3D effects. This is my first video to test microphones, the levels are not perfect. The Azden SGM-1X is a budget Shotgun Microphone with foam and fluffy wind shield. The Rode NT5 is designed as a instrument microphone with foam wind shield. The Rode HS1-P Is a headset microphone designed for voice recordings on the move. The Onboard camera microphone is from a AG-HMC-152EN Panasonic HD Camera (Pal version of the AG-HMC-150) I will do my video about some of the equipment i use and how to get the best out of them. I try to describe ASMR experience to people using something common like visiting a hairdresser, do you find the experience of someone focusing on you, the gentle touching of your hair, the sound of the scissors moving around you relaxing? That would be a relaxing experience, watching ASMR video is like recreating that type of experience. I believe most people can experience ASMR, to experience ASMR you need to find you trigger, common triggers will often be related to one person focusing on you or another person and watching this person focus or give them attention will trigger it. Triggers: Watching massage ** Baba Worlds Greatest Head Massage ** Watching a person focus and describe something there passionate about ** Bob Ross deep voice talking about painting, scraping sounds, brushing sounds. The forefather of ASMR ** Whispering ** Maria GentleWhispering the Queen of ASMR ** Listening to someones voice & the way the talk Soft spoken voices & certain accents Hand Movements Watching Someone Focus on a task Personal Attention - like a hair cut Any type of Role Play the best ones are ones that involve personal attention to you, examinations, face brushing ect Watching someone draw or paint Sounds : Crinkle, Tapping, Scratching & multi layering of different sounds together Almost anything can be a "trigger' for a persons ASMR everybody is different, you just have to find yours. “As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.”
