As the nights are getting longer in the Northern hemisphere, it's the perfect time to look up at the stars and trace the beautiful constellations across the nightsky. Stargazing can be a great way to get into astronomy or to familiarize yourself with ancient myths. Today I'm going to show you how to locate the autumn constellations: Cassiopeia, Cepheus, Perseus, Andromeda, Cetus and Pegasus. The fabulous book used in this video: Eckhard Slawik & Uwe Reichert. Atlas der Sternbilder: Ein astronomischer Wegweiser in Photographien. For an image of the current nightsky incl. deep space and non-stellar objects, I use Hallo Northern Sky: http://www.hnsky.org/software.htm You can support my channel via: https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/melan...
