One of my personal favorite genres of ASMR is Follow the Light, in which a dim flashlight is moved around the screen in lines, circles and patterns---to be followed with the eyes. I find this extremely calming, and sometimes it helps put me to sleep! interestingly, bilateral visual stimulation impacts the brain in ways that scientists and psychologists are only beginning to understand; however that it DOES impact the brain is well documented, and it is used in various special education and trauma therapies. this video, however, is not for medical purposes but for relaxation. I hope you'll give it a watch, and notice your body and mind coming to a place of stillness! 🙂 (also, watch to the end to find out what will happen if I get 8 more subscribers!! 😀😉) this is a mostly no talking video, with a little bit of whispering at the beginning and the end. the black and white visuals lend themselves to a calm vibe. sincerely, thank you so much for watching!! every view, like, subscription, and comment is a genuine encouragement to my heart. 💕 whoever you are, thank you for being here. and as always, remember that you are Loved and Capable.
To listen while using other apps, switch the player to Picture-in-Picture (PiP) during playback — it keeps playing in a small floating window (the screen stays on).
To listen with the screen fully off, in-browser playback stops by YouTube's design. Open the video in the YouTube app to keep listening where background playback is supported (e.g. with YouTube Premium).
