ASMR - Blanket Fort Besties - Doing Your Makeup and Counselling/Comforting You - Personal Attention

This roleplay features: Binaural soft speaking, tweezer sounds, scissor sounds, make up brush sounds, close personal attention and sincere and genuine counsel from a caring friend. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- So I got a comment from Patrolman5 when I came back last week that said it might be nostalgic to use my old camcorder instead of my pixel (which I unfortunately no longer have, I lost it in the move back home). Here's the thing though, my old camcorder actually wasn't that bad, it's just that for many of my videos I made the lighting poor because I was so self conscious about the way I looked and I wanted to be as shrouded as possible. I've been a big girl all my life, and I've always been shy of being on camera because I felt shame about my body. Since my old uploads, I've lost 50 pounds, which certainly has helped my self esteem some. But the biggest change for me was just getting older and caring less about what people think of the way I look. I believe I'm a likeable person. I'm kind, I'm funny and I follow a personal moral code to enrich the lives of people I love, so if a person can't get past the way I look to like the positive things about me, that's ok. People have their own lives and reasons and their choices don't need to hurt me, right? (At least that's my self-esteem mantra when the dark feelings start creeping back in.) So I feel less like I need to hide myself in poor lighting, excessively tilted down angles and overly close shots. That being said, this particular video felt right in low lighting. The quality was just a bi-product of trying to film in minimal light, so yes, the video part is not great. I also felt the need to look natural as this was a very genuine video that I didn't want to gussie up for, so my hair is in it's normal unkempt state and the dark circles under my eyes aren't covered up. I think the audio turned out really well though and I hope you like it. This was a very cathartic video for me, in fact you can probably see the moment on my face when I start feeling some of my own tough feelings. I hope it gives you all some comfort to watch it in the way it gave me comfort to film it.
