Xuemeiniang, Mochi Daifuku, ASMR, Whispering, Mukbang, Eating Sounds Hey everyone, I'm Pin 🙋♀️. Today, I’ve prepared two heavy, oversized Mochi Daifuku, also known as Xuemeiniang. Besides the classic Red Bean & Whipped Cream flavor, I decided to challenge the trendy Dubai Chocolate flavor! Since I didn't want to buy a whole pack of Kadayıf, I had a sudden inspiration to try "Jisi Noodles" (thin crispy noodles) from my pantry. Honestly, the crunchiness is surprisingly good! I paired it with my homemade Pumpkin Seed Matcha butter (pistachios are just way too expensive lately...). Although the color looks amazing, I accidentally made the sauce a little too salty this time XD Put on your headphones and listen to the contrast between the soft mochi skin and the crunchy filling. Let’s have some milk and chat about my recent thoughts. 🕒 Today's Menu: 00:00 Tasting 2 flavors (Red Bean vs. Dubai Chocolate) 00:35 Let's talk about the mochi skin: How to thaw it for the best texture? 01:59 Satisfying cross-section: Look at that filling! 02:21 Why did I use crispy noodles as a substitute? 03:31 Chatting about Korea’s trendy "Du-Q Cake" 04:12 A little episode: Finding the balance between sweet and salty is hard! 05:23 Ending with a bit of a mess, see you next time! 🥛 Pin's Mumble: Sound Check: The mochi skin became super soft after heating, and the sound is so healing to listen to. Experiment Result: Toasted crispy noodles are a great swap for Kadayıf! If you can’t find the ingredients, give this a try—just remember to go easy on the salt in the nut butter.
