If there was an actual ASMR cable channel, this is what i think would be on at 3 in the morning. The tune playing is over 75 years old and outside of copyright - it was actually recorded in 1886 and is called "In The Gloaming" words by Meta Orred, music by Annie Fortescue-Harrison (later became lady Arthur Hill). It became one of the most popular ballads to be published as sheet music. The song is available here: http://www.freesound.org/people/Walter_Odington/sounds/18627/ After I thought up the title for this video it reminded me of the "ASMR TV Show" YT channel I created back in June (2012) that I completely forgot about: http://www.youtube.com/user/asmrtv I created that channel with the intent of hosting a show dedicated to the ASMR world as if it were any other YT show or a cable channel. Just never could think of the direction or what the content would consist of, let alone the work involved. To listen while using other apps, switch the player to Picture-in-Picture (PiP) during playback — it keeps playing in a small floating window (the screen stays on).
To listen with the screen fully off, in-browser playback stops by YouTube's design. Open the video in the YouTube app to keep listening where background playback is supported (e.g. with YouTube Premium).
