I burn some long matches, but slow down the video & audio to 1/4 of the normal speed for a unique audio and visual experience. I also added a pseudo-stereo effect since the original audio is in mono. I love this effect and sound and have been meaning to do a full video on it ever since I did it briefly here and there in some videos years ago. I plan to do this again with the match at the maximum .28mm nearest distance to the macro lens so we get to see all the fiery details extremely closeup. But for this first attempt I wanted to start with the match a little further away so that the flames could be seen as well. I also plan to start making some outdoor log burning "campfire" videos since winter is just about here and the bugs are silent for the season. *I think I may have screwed up the 4K resolution by rendering the original 4K video as 1080p stretched to 4K by mistake. So if the 4K looks crappy and pixelated that's why. 00:00:00 Match 1 00:09:07 Match 2 00:17:42 Match 3 00:26:47 Match 4 00:35:42 Match 5 00:44:22 Match 6 00:51:38 Match 7 Channel Playlists: https://www.youtube.com/c/EphemeralRift/playlists?view=1&sort=lad&flow=grid Website ► https://ephemeralrift.com Instagram ► https://www.instagram.com/ephemeral.rift/ Twitter ► https://twitter.com/ephemeralrift1 Flickr ► https://www.flickr.com/photos/ephemeralrift/ Listen to select audio works outside of YouTube: Spotify ► https://open.spotify.com/artist/6WJUD0ljiIwxmbEzpb4onm iTunes ► https://music.apple.com/us/artist/ephemeral-rift/602599265 Patreon ► https://www.patreon.com/ephemeralrift
To listen while using other apps, switch the player to Picture-in-Picture (PiP) during playback — it keeps playing in a small floating window (the screen stays on).
To listen with the screen fully off, in-browser playback stops by YouTube's design. Open the video in the YouTube app to keep listening where background playback is supported (e.g. with YouTube Premium).
