Fun fact of the day: The first wireless mouse ever made was the Logitech Metaphor in 1984!! It was commissioned by Metaphor Computer Systems, which was funded by former Xerox researchers. It was something extremely futuristic for the time!! A mouse that works on batteries and sends infrared signals to your PC was a concept that most companies could not even think of at the time!! There was an issue with this technology, the infrared signal needed a clear path to the receiver. If you put a mug, a box of pencils, or anything else between the mouse and the receiver, the mouse would stop working. Unfortunately, the mouse did not take off at the time, but it proved that the technology was possible!! In the 1990s, Logitech revisited their old wireless mouse experiments and started using radio signals instead, which solved the line of sight issue!! As a result, giving birth to the convenience that is the wireless mouse we can enjoy today!!
To listen while using other apps, switch the player to Picture-in-Picture (PiP) during playback — it keeps playing in a small floating window (the screen stays on).
To listen with the screen fully off, in-browser playback stops by YouTube's design. Open the video in the YouTube app to keep listening where background playback is supported (e.g. with YouTube Premium).
