A peaceful stroll through a cemetery, accompanied by some softly spoken ramblings, as well as the poem “Thanatopsis”, by William Cullen Bryant. Thanatopsis means a contemplation of death, but this poem is a soothing one. The idea of death can be scary, or, when one is in despair, longed for. But I encourage you not to give in to either fear or despair—and, if you’re feeling these things, to talk to someone about them. While we have life, there is always hope and there truly are ways for all of us to change, transform, and to welcome peace into our souls.
