Once again you find yourself participating in a test you don't remember ever volunteering for administered by none other than Arkham Sanitarium's own Frank Walker, resident Zombie Medical Doctor of the undead. Frank employs an assortment of containers with their caps & lids to create a variety of sounds pleasing to your ears in order to help you relax, sleep, experience A.S.M.R., and of course to continue helping with The Harvest. 00:02:13 Test #1: Plastic pill bottle with plastic cap 00:06:37 Test #2: Plastic vitamin bottle with plastic cap 00:10:56 Test #3: Glass worcestershire bottle with plastic cap 00:14:30 Test #4: Filled plastic critter drinking bottle with plastic cap 00:18:07 Test #5: Filled plastic rubbing alcohol bottle with plastic cap 00:22:16 Test #6: Empty glass jar with metal lid 00:26:25 Test #7: Filled glass jar with metal lid 00:30:52 Test #8: Filled glass jar with metal lid 00:35:48 Test #9: Empty glass soda bottle with metal cap 00:38:30 Test #10: Filled glass soda bottle with metal cap 00:41:44 Test #11: Filled plastic water bottle with plastic cap 00:44:33 Test #12: Filled plastic beverage bottle with plastic cap 00:48:47 Test #13: Filled juice carton with plastic cap 00:52:23 Test #14: Filled plastic beverage bottle with plastic cap 00:56:06 Test #15: Empty plastic juice container with plastic cap 00:58:50 Test #16: Filled plastic milk jug with plastic cap 01:13:15 Test #17: Partially filled plastic gasoline canister with plastic cap - Fade-out at the end Silicone mask by Composite Effects: http://bit.ly/2ndNxK5 Patreon ► http://bit.ly/1EZgmNi You can listen to selected works outside of YouTube: Out now: "The ASMR Sessions Volume 2" Spotify ► http://bit.ly/1V23U60 CDBaby ► http://bit.ly/1AUt3Jj iTunes ► http://apple.co/1xIHLNd Google Play ► http://bit.ly/1vPUJgF And others like Deezer, Rhapsody, etc! It is both a sensation and a medium. ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response and is the current, non-scientific name given to the feeling characterized as a pleasurable tingling sensation felt in the head, scalp, back and other regions of the body in response to visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory, and/or cognitive stimuli, such as crinkling bags, hand movements, whispering, personal attention or watching someone perform a task. It's like goosebumps, but much more pleasant. ASMR videos are meant to intentionally help induce this sensation, also referred to as "tingles", but also provide a relaxing, calming, soothing, therapeutic and even entertaining experience for the viewer. Many people who do not experience ASMR still enjoy the videos for their calming and sleepy effect.
To listen while using other apps, switch the player to Picture-in-Picture (PiP) during playback — it keeps playing in a small floating window (the screen stays on).
To listen with the screen fully off, in-browser playback stops by YouTube's design. Open the video in the YouTube app to keep listening where background playback is supported (e.g. with YouTube Premium).
