Belle Gibson, a well-known Instagram guru, lied about having multiple cancers, faking donations to charity and claimed alternative treatments cured her illnesses during the height of her fame. Today I am re-telling her story, starting from the very beginning until the eventual unraveling of her web of lies. I will also discuss the Netflix limited series Apple Cider Vinegar, which was based on the book "The Woman Who Fooled the World" by journalists Beau Donelly and Nick Toscano who were instrumental in exposing her lies. I hope Belle finds a passion that doesn't involve taking advantage of people. As she has a second chance at life, unlike some of the people she deceived in the past.
