NOTE: This video features me cutting stuff with real knives. Don't watch if this will disturb you. I tried cutting the soap with the skirt and pot holder that I bought on my Goodwill shopping trip, but the results were somewhat less than stellar, so I had to go with the knives. No, I didn't cut myself. I peeled tons of taters as a kid and am still quite handy with a blade. I've never "officially" cut soap before. Yeah, there was that one time about two years ago when I hacked up some innocent bars of soap for a video (bad sound quality, but here it is: • ASMR ~ Soft Spoken ~ Soap Sliver Recycling ) ...and then I did play around with cutting up a bar of Pear's translucent soap, but really, this is my first "official" soap cutting. This video features five bars of soap that I purchased at Goodwill this evening, and three pocket knives that I bought in the same store. It's not glycerin soap, and it's crumbly, as you'll see. I hope you enjoy it.
