This is my first time trying out Foley effects in a video! It's nothing too crazy, I just recorded box sounds of tapping and scratching, crinkled different types of plastics, then inserted the ones I liked into the video. I've been watching a lot of other asmrtists do it on Youtube and Tiktok so I finally wanted to try it myself. It was actually pretty fun. **What is Foley?** In filmmaking, Foley is the reproduction of everyday sound effects that are added to films, videos, and other media in post-production to enhance audio quality. This is just a sneak peek without any talking for the Bacon Bits. The full video with whispered commentary will be up sometime tomorrow. I was just really excited to show you guys my foley practice :) Enjoy!
To listen while using other apps, switch the player to Picture-in-Picture (PiP) during playback — it keeps playing in a small floating window (the screen stays on).
To listen with the screen fully off, in-browser playback stops by YouTube's design. Open the video in the YouTube app to keep listening where background playback is supported (e.g. with YouTube Premium).
