&SMR is an acronym for the unique feeling known as the Ampersand Sensory Meridian Response. It is triggered by ampersandic stimuli, such as seeing an ampersand being written, hearing the word ampersand being spoken, hearing the unique sounds that only an ampersand can make, or any combination thereof such as but not limited to: many ampersands being written in an arcane book of knowledge while the word ampersand is whispered over and over as if to draw upon some ancient power; the sound of an ampersand skittering across a linoleum tiled floor on its way to get its favorite treat out of its food bowl that its owner just put out after arriving home from a long day at the factory; a young feral ampersand being attended to by its mother in their den deep within the Whispering Woods; and that climactic moment during the movie "Ampersand 2: Hashtag's Revenge" when Comma enters the attic and sees...... never mind, I don't want to spoil it.
