More so than Christmas trees and decorations, Nativity scenes are the quintessential imagery of the holidays. Today I'd like to invite you to take a closer look at the painting of a Flemish master, Rogier van der Weyden. There is a fascinating - and quite subtle - detail to the depiction of the donor that I think is just perfect to explore in ASMR. This particular book is by Stephan Kemperdick and simply titled "Rogier van der Weyden". It's from a series called "Masters of Dutch Art" and also available in English. The painting is known as the Middleburg or Bladelin Altarpiece and on display at the Gemäldegalerie in Berlin. *** You can support my channel via: Paypal Me - paypal.com/paypalme/melangeasmr Ko-Fi - ko-fi.com/melangeasmr
