ASMR Guided Visualization for Stress Containment

In lieu of life vests, all passengers are encouraged to don headphones for the duration of our passage. All nautical nonsense aside, this is a very personal visualization that I have developed for containing traumatic memories after dealing with them in therapy. But I have also found it exceptionally useful for coping with stress and anxiety in or after tense situations (most recently I used it on a long, crowded flight). The imagery is inspired by my love of Old Hollywood and the depiction of luxury steamers in films like Now, Voyager and An Affair to Remember. I've even spent the night in a suite on the Queen Mary, pictured above (as I'm sure may of you West Coasters have!). I hope the sounds and sentiments of cerulean seas will guide you to calm waters.
