I went back to visit a barbershop owner Jean-marie at 'Le merlan' or 'the whiting' in Nantes, France. After working all day using talcum powder, people called the barbers 'merlan' [whiting fish] as they ressembled fish prepared for frying (i.e. covered with flour). He now has a tattoo of a whiting on his arm and it is the logo of his barbershop (as well as LEGO earings you can see in the intro!). Of course, with a name like that, I was very curious to visit his barbershop for a shave!
