I took my Sony handycam camcorder out into the Pennsylvania woods on a calm, clear, sunny day during Spring (April 2022). My sole intent was to be a silent observer walking around capturing the sounds of nature while including plenty of camcorder handling crackling sounds for those, like myself, that enjoy those sounds. You'll hear plenty of bird songs and bird calls, the wind rustling leaves, walking on dried leaves (towards the end of the video), and me reaching out a few times to explore the sounds of some plant leaves and mushrooms growing on a log. To listen while using other apps, switch the player to Picture-in-Picture (PiP) during playback — it keeps playing in a small floating window (the screen stays on).
To listen with the screen fully off, in-browser playback stops by YouTube's design. Open the video in the YouTube app to keep listening where background playback is supported (e.g. with YouTube Premium).
