Card Wars Rules Premise "Card Wars" is a game about taking down "Monsters" (other cards) and building your team (or deck) to be as powerful as possible by the end of the "Dungeon" or "Round" to take down a final boss at the end. Players can either go solo or fight together and help each other by giving unwanted cards to one another and reviving and healing each other. Basic Rules The game starts by the dealer giving each player 5 cards. After all cards have been dealt, the dealer roles a six sided die to determine how many waves of monster the group must face. After the wave count has been determined the players flip up their cards. If a player gets 4 or more Of the same color card, they can exchange one for another card of the opposite color. Once players have their cards, they must arrange them into their color groups (Black and Red) BLACK CARDS are considered "Attack Cards" and are used to attack "Monster Cards" RED CARDS are considered "Health Cards" and are used as the player's Health. After all decks are ready, the dealer deals out 6 cards facedown and arranges them as he/she pleases. This is the first "Monster Wave" The dealer decides who goes first and the selected player makes the first move. The player must move an "Attack Card" to the "Monster Wave" and flip up one "Monster Card" of their choosing. If the "Monster Card" they select is HIGHER than their selected "Attack Card" then the player loses a "Heath Card" from their deck permanently unless their lowest "Health Card" is larger than the "Monster Card" that was flipped up. If the selected "Monster Card" is LOWER than the selected "Attack Card" then the player gets to keep the "Monster Card" they flipped up and add it to their deck or discard it. If the selected "Monster Card" is the same or equal-to the selected "Attack Card" then the player enters a "Duel". When a "Duel" is started, the player must select another one of his/her "Attack Cards" and place it behind the first "Attack Card". Afterwards the player must flip up another "Monster Card". Aww If the second "Monster Card" HIGHER than the second "Attack Card" then the aAA A Number Streak: A "Number Streak" is a set of three numbers that go together in order. When used, a "Number Streak" can beat one of any card. Can only be used ONCE. A Royal Streak: A "Royal Streak" is obtained when a player collects all 3 face cards (Jack, Queen and King) of the same color (Black or Red) and merges them into one. Can only be used ONCE then all 3 face cards must be discarded. A Red Royal Streak revives whole team A Black Royal Streak takes down 6 cards of any strength. An Ace Streak: An "Ace Streak" is the hardest and most powerful "Streak" in this game. Although the Ace Card is almost useless by itself, if a player collects all 4 Ace Cards and merges them together, the player creates an "Ace Streak" which, when used, destroys an entire "Monster Wave" or 10 cards of a boss no matter the number. Can only be used ONCE. Double Trouble Streak If a player gets 2 of the same cards, they may exchange them with the trader for the top card on the card deck. It is a risky move! But sometimes necessary! Facecard Abilities Each Facecard has it's own unique skill and these skills can be used in battle. Once a player uses a Facecard's skill however, the selected Facecard must be discarded back into the deck. Red Jack: When a Red Jack Card's ability is used, it can revive all of the players used or dead damage cards and allow the player to use the card again in the same "Monster Wave" Red Queen: When the Red Queen Card's ability is used, it can revive a dead player with a new deck of 5 cards or reset a living player's deck with 5 new cards. Red King: When the Red King Card's ability is used, it causes one flipped up "Monster Card" of the player's choosing to lose its value by 2 points. Black Jack: When the Black Jack Card's Ability is used, it allows the player to remove 2 unflipped "Monster Cards" from the "Wave" and take them for their deck. If all cards are flipped, the Jack can take one card of their choosing. Black Queen: When the Black Queen Card's ability is used, it causes all unflipped cards in a "Monster Wave" to flip over and allows the player to take one of the flipped cards into their deck. NOTE: This does not apply to bosses. Only 6 cards will be flipped when used on a boss) If all cards are flipped, this does nothing. Black King: When the Black King Card's ability is used, it destroys the entire front row of a "Monster Wave" or "Boss" not matter how powerful the cards in that row. Other information Players can have a maximum of 9 cards on their team unless stacked! Monster decks are 6 cards. Players can only give another player an excess card if they have a full deck. Players cannot trade cards or just give cards at will. Troop of Cards = 6 Army of Cards = 9 Boss Battle = 12-14
