You have a very long overdue and much needed visit from Cthulhu, who has finally awakened from his slumber with a little help from your friends (ie. the Professor, Dave, Corvus, Margaret, The EOF, etal.) Now all he wants is to help you relax, get some sleep, and hopefully experience some tingles along the way! 00:11:10 Calming Hand Motions 00:17:49 Jacket sounds 00:21:07 Face sketching 00:30:28 Bubble Wrap 00:34:32 Leaves 00:39:10 Balloon 00:43:05 Foam die 00:46:10 Tree Branches 00:50:50 Seashells from R'lyeh 00:56:13 Book reading (excerpt) Book "H.P. It is both a sensation and a medium. ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response and is the current, non-scientific name given to the feeling characterized as a pleasurable tingling sensation felt in the head, scalp, back and other regions of the body in response to visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory, and/or cognitive stimuli, such as crinkling bags, hand movements, whispering, personal attention or watching someone perform a task. It's like goosebumps, but much more pleasant. ASMR videos are meant to intentionally help induce this sensation, also referred to as "tingles", but also provide a relaxing, calming, soothing, therapeutic and even entertaining experience for the viewer. Many people who do not experience ASMR still enjoy the videos for their calming and sleepy effect.

To listen with the screen fully off, in-browser playback stops by YouTube's design. Open the video in the YouTube app to keep listening where background playback is supported (e.g. with YouTube Premium).
